100 tourists are fined for anti-social behaviour in Venice in two months under the city’s new crackdown on ‘rude people’.
Officials in Venice have pledged to continue their crackdown on anti-social behaviour after dishing out 100 fines and exclusion orders in just eight weeks. Since the bans were introduced on June 19th, those fined have included a Canadian woman sunbathing in a bikini and a man who slept in the flowerbed of a central park.
